About My Clients
My work combines a wide variety of new techniques with an assortment of traditional approaches. I use a lot of humor and sarcasm in my sessions. I guide my clients on a path to self-awareness and mindfulness in order to elicit the desired life changes. I’m honest, empathetic, non-judgemental and I’m here to support you! I have experience working in inpatient units, residential units, in home therapy and in school counseling.
My Background and Approach
My theoretical experience includes a combination of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT), Behavior Modification, Brainspotting for trauma (https://brainspotting.com) & more. One modality I have found profoundly helpful is Walk&Talk. Being outdoors is fun, but even more importantly, it’s good for our mind, body, and soul.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Reaching out for help or guidance isn't always easy, but I am here to help ease the process. Trust and safety are of the utmost importance. I look forward to learning about my clients and working together in setting treatment goals in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
