About My Clients

My ideal client is someone who’s always been “the strong one”, navigating life with multiple identities like being Black, being a woman, being first-gen, or misunderstood in spaces that don't reflect them. They're emotionally exhausted, craving peace, clarity, and space to finally be. They may struggle with anxiety, identity, or trauma and want therapy that honors their full story, not just symptoms. They're ready to heal, but they don't want to do it alone.

My Background and Approach

You're not imagining it! Carrying multiple identities in this world is heavy. Being Black, queer, first-gen, or “the strong one” can feel like a quiet weight in spaces that don’t always see or affirm you. You may feel anxious, disconnected, or like you're constantly performing strength while yearning to simply be. I’m Dr. Ashley Craft (she/her), a trauma-informed, culturally responsive psychologist and founder of Hues of Healing, PLLC. I offer virtual therapy for adults across Michigan who are navigating identity exploration, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, intergenerational trauma, and relationship challenges. I center those often left at the margins (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and first-gen folks) and I hold space for every shade of your healing journey. My approach blends Relational-Cultural Therapy, CBT, and mindfulness with deep cultural attunement and soul-deep intuition. You won’t have to shrink yourself or over-explain. I offer a space where you’re safe, seen, and fully supported.
