About My Clients
There are many daily stressors involved in the military lifestyle including leaving loved ones behind, feeling lonely, juggling employment, finding schools and other services for the children, stress, anxiety, PTSD and more. My focus is on serving our veterans, spouses and loved ones.
My Background and Approach
We will work to uncover, rediscover and build assets and strengths to help you on your journey. My goal is to help you create the tools needed to move forward to where you want to be in your life. I was born in Texas and call it home. I am a mother of 3, my spouse is an Air Force veteran who has served in 4 deployments in Korea, OIF and OEF. Our military life has taken us to Alaska, Arizonia, Massachusetts, Japan and now the UK. During this time, I discovered my passions of working with veterans and their loved ones.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, I have had the opportunity to work in the mental health and substance abuse field. I am professionally trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Since I believe we are all unique, I pull from multiple theories to best fit each client.
