About My Clients
I work with individuals who want to feel and perform their best in all areas of life. This may include performance enhancement in sport or work, adjusting to a new transition, managing stress or perfectionism, and addressing sleep concerns or other health related issues.
My Background and Approach
I hold a PhD in psychology and have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and performance psychology. With these advanced qualifications, I help clients to address sleep, injury/health, and performance with lasting solutions. My approach is driven by evidence-based therapies to help you manage stress, improve sleep quality, and enhance your performance. Whether you're dealing with perfectionism, managing high-pressure situations, or aiming to improve on a specific goal, my intention is to help you amplify your strengths while finding the approach that will work for you. By drawing from years of rigorous academic and clinical training, I tailor my interventions to your unique needs, ensuring that every session provides you with practical tools to move toward lasting change. I believe in working collaboratively to empower you to reach your potential while taking care of your mental health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space where all individuals can explore their health and well-being without fear of judgment. I believe in the importance of social justice, advocating for access to mental health, and ensuring that therapy is a safe, equitable space for everyone. I recognize the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities, and I strive to provide culturally competent care that respects each individual’s identity and lived experiences. I approach therapy from a perspective of collaboration and empowerment, helping clients build resilience, practice self-compassion, and engage in personal growth.
