About My Clients
Life can look fine on the outside and still feel incredibly difficult on the inside. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, facing relationship challenges, or navigating a major life change, therapy can provide a space to pause, gain clarity, and move forward with intention. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your resilience, and create lasting change that extends beyond our sessions.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over a decade of experience working across community-based, residential, and outpatient mental health settings. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges, from life transitions and relationship concerns to complex mental health needs. In recent years, I have focused much of my work on anxiety and OCD, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and ERP. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, helping clients gain insight, build effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change aligned with their values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. My approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens when people feel safe enough to show up as their authentic selves without fear of judgment. I value curiosity over criticism, progress over perfection, and creating a space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences openly. I am committed to providing an inclusive, affirming environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities. I recognize that each person's story is shaped by unique life experiences, relationships, and systems, and I strive to meet clients with humility, empathy, and genuine care. Outside of my work, I value connection, family, personal growth, and finding balance in the midst of life's challenges—values that continue to shape both who I am and how I show up as a therapist.
