About My Clients
Self-love leads to happiness and acceptance of yourself. Sometimes we struggle with self-love; that’s okay and normal. Pursuing therapy is a great step towards practicing self-love! In therapy we will work on identifying barriers that prevent you from fully loving yourself, learn healthy ways to cope with life, and strengthen your self-care. We will also work on dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, difficulties in communication, self-doubt, decision making, and relationship issues.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a person-centered approach to help individuals overcome challenges and work towards a stronger sense of self. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and mood disorders. I help promote change and problem solving through encouragement, empathy, and mindfulness. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is best when tailored to the client’s individual needs and personal goals. My goal is to create a safe and positive environment that will promote increased healthiness and happiness in all areas of life. Therapy is one of the biggest factors in maintaining self-care.
