About My Clients
My clients are adult individuals who are trying to sort out relationship issues. Relationship issues can be romantic but also familial, friendships, our relationship to ourselves, our bodies, our identities and more. Anxiety, depression, obsessive thinking/behaviors and addiction all stem from difficulty in relating to someone or something.
My Background and Approach
I have a background as a movement therapist and tend to be more somatic and psychodynamic than skills based. We can and will talk about skills to alleviate immediate symptoms but it is my experience that until you get to the root of the problem, the symptoms will likely return. I have additional certifications in work with adult children of emotionally immature parents and religious trauma.
