About My Clients
I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings providing individual counseling as well as group therapy. I have experience working with diverse client populations, with a primary focus on providing treatment to children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families.
My Background and Approach
My approach to treatment is collaborative and strengths-based and I diligently attempt to create a safe environment for my clients in which the therapeutic alliance is valued and maintained throughout treatment. My primary therapeutic approaches include a combination of evidence-based treatment modalities such as motivational enhancement, rational emotive behavioral therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, client centered therapy and mindfulness in treatment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strive to offer my clients feelings of unconditional acceptance and warmth, as together we address the concerns which brought the client or family system to seek treatment. I like to create a space for my clients to explore their inner selves and connect to what is important to them, so that they can make changes and are able to live the future they envision for themselves. I am highly dedicated to helping others in their journey towards healing and helping clients meet their maximum potential while providing a safe and healing environment to elicit positive change.
