About My Clients
I provide counseling to individuals, couples, families, and young adults. My areas of interest include anxiety; depression; life transitions; parenting; maternal mental health (PPD/PPD/infertility) trauma; stress management; couples counseling; and career stress.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is simple. I believe it begins with an open conversation between two or more individuals. It is a collaborative process where my role as the therapist is to help facilitate the session dictated by your needs. Sharing thoughts, fears, hopes, and concerns in a non-judgmental atmosphere fosters a safe and welcoming environment for personal growth. Through my experience at Mount Sinai Hospital and Park Avenue Psychotherapy in NYC, The Postpartum Stress Center in PA, and teaching at the University of Pittsburgh, I've become adept at working with a variety of clients. I know you will come away from sessions with a renewed sense of self-confidence and will feel equipped to tackle life's challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about maternal mental health and de-stigmatizing the often difficult journey of parenting.
