About My Clients

I enjoy servingin people who are ready to engage deeply in their mental health care. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, identity development, grief, serious illness, or major life transitions. I provide LGBTQ+ affirming care and welcome clients exploring gender, sexuality, ethical non-monogamy, or spiritual complexity. I also work with healthcare professionals and caregivers carrying quiet emotional weight.

My Background and Approach

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in hospice and palliative care. This experience does not define my practice, it informs it. My work is grounded in evidence-based psychiatry while also integrating existential therapy, trauma-informed care, and mind–body awareness. Before specializing in psychiatry, I spent many years caring for patients facing serious illness and end-of-life transitions. That experience profoundly shapes how I practice: I am comfortable talking about grief, mortality, meaning, and the complexity of being human. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management while treating therapy as an essential part of care. I am particularly attentive to how identity, culture, and lived experience shape mental health. Clients often describe my style as steady, thoughtful, compassionate, and brave.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a gay Jewish clinician and my lived experience informs my work. I believe mental health care should be affirming, ethically grounded, and deeply humane. I support LGBTQ+ rights, bodily autonomy, and equitable access to care. I am drawn to existential philosophy, spiritual inquiry, and the question of how we live meaningfully in difficult times. Outside of work, I value community, learning, and time in nature. I believe that healing happens when people are met with honesty, compassion, and clear boundaries.
