Adults with Level 1 ASD are a population I am committed to serving. Many have spent their lives feeling misunderstood, exhausted by social demands, or unsure how to make sense of their own experience. My work focuses on the emotional, relational, and identity challenges that so often go unrecognized—offering a space that is knowledgeable, affirming, and attuned to the autistic experience.

While I work with parents navigating a wide range of challenges, I have a particular specialty in supporting parents of children with special needs—focusing not on advocacy or legal matters, but on the emotional weight, stress, and painful feelings that so often accompany this unique and demanding experience.

I have over fifteen years of experience working with trauma, and have created training programs on effective trauma treatments. I have a focused expertise on complex trauma that emerges from chronic childhood abuse and neglect.

Existential therapy invites a deeper look at the questions that often sit beneath the surface—questions of meaning, purpose, identity, and how you want to live. This approach is particularly valuable during periods of significant transition, loss, or when life has begun to feel hollow or uncertain. It is not about finding easy answers, but about developing the clarity and courage to live more intentionally.

CBT is one of the most well-researched approaches in psychotherapy. It focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors — helping you identify patterns that may be maintaining your distress and develop more effective ways of responding. I draw on CBT when it offers the most direct path to the changes you're looking for.

ACT is my primary clinical specialty and the foundation of most of my work. Rather than focusing solely on eliminating difficult thoughts and feelings, ACT helps you develop a different relationship with your inner experience — one grounded in acceptance, self-compassion, and clarity about what truly matters to you. The goal is psychological flexibility: the ability to move toward a meaningful, values-driven life even in the presence of pain, uncertainty, or difficulty.
