I have over 7 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families who endured trauma and socio-emotional obstacles in various life stages. My specialties include child, adolescent and adult psychology, crisis management, Functional Family Therapy, Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Anger Replacement Training, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who graduated from California State University, Los Angeles. My mission is to provide an environment where you feel safe to process thoughts, feelings and feel heard. My expertise is providing a person-centered approach, incorporating evidenced based interventions to increase insight and promote change. My professional experience includes providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families in various multidisciplinary settings, including non-profit outpatient mental health agencies, public schools and community-based resource centers. I am culturally competent, bilingual (Spanish) and trauma informed. I am philanthropic, empathetic and driven to continue facilitating positive outcomes and empower you to gain insight and skills which will promote growth.
