My Background and Approach
My background and training orients me towards Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However, I acknowledge and maintain that no single or dual strategy can satisfy the therapeutic needs of the vast array of unique individuals and couples in therapy. My approach will be determined by the goals and objectives we set in the first few sessions. My purpose is to help provide you the tools that will aid YOU in making the best decisions for yourself. I strive to instill a sense of autonomy in you that you can rely in present and future adverse experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is my personal belief that someone has curated a self-defined purpose in life and a plan to actualize their goals, they can begin to strive for the changes they feel they need to make in order to make it happen. Overcoming the fear to ask for help is a difficult task and one that I personally struggled with growing up. However, I think you’ll find that once you do ask, the challenges you’re facing will appear and become more approachable. The heaviness of your load may not lighten, but the strength and strategies that we cultivate will help you more easily bear its weight.
