About My Clients
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that are difficult to change? We support individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, burnout, relationship challenges, family conflict, and life transitions. Our clients often want to better understand themselves, heal from difficult experiences, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful change in a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment.
My Background and Approach
At A&B Family Therapy, we provide trauma-informed, relational, culturally responsive, and strengths-based care for individuals, couples, and families. Our clinicians work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, burnout, relationship challenges, family concerns, and life transitions. We draw from approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS/Parts Work), CBT, somatic therapy, mindfulness, breathwork, and person-centered therapy. We recognize that every person has different experiences, needs, and goals, so therapy is collaborative and tailored to you. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we explore the experiences and patterns underneath them to help you develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, healthier coping skills, and stronger relationships. Our goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel understood, reconnect with yourself, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change, regardless of where they are in life. I believe therapy should be a space where people feel safe, respected, understood, and accepted for who they are. I value compassion, connection, cultural humility, and curiosity, and I believe our experiences, relationships, culture, and family histories all shape how we understand ourselves. I am passionate about creating inclusive, non-judgmental spaces where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace. I believe that healing is not about changing who you are, but about developing a deeper understanding of yourself, building resilience, and reconnecting with the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked or hurt. I believe everyone deserves support that honors their individual story, strengths, values, and goals.
