About My Clients
I have experience with all manner of demographics, but the ones I have a special affinity for are queer and neurodiverse themselves, as these are historically underserved populations. I love hearing about clients' hobbies, goals, and interests!
My Background and Approach
I have dedicated my practice to working with queer and neurodiverse individuals with a focus on complex trauma and understanding how systemic issues and family dynamics play into unhealthy behaviors and reactions in adulthood. With a background in child welfare case management, I love connecting people to resources and helping guide them through whatever processes they're navigating, be that higher education, the workplace, or a gender/life transition.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the inherent dignity and worth of every person and try to live my life to this standard. With that said, I do not tolerate bigotry and hate and believe everyone would benefit from understanding the paradox of tolerance. If you are looking for a therapist who works from an intersectional framework and works from a place of cultural humility, I may be a good fit!
