About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who wants to grow and learn about themself . I work with high achieving women who have made it professionally , yet happiness is often lacking . If you are a perfectionist or feel like an imposter , I am here to help you figure out how to create balance and satisfaction . So if you feel like you have done all the right things and have the possessions but want to explore your needs and wants , I hope I may facilitate your growth .
My Background and Approach
I use an electric approach to meet your individual needs .I use evidence based treatment modalities and am an avid learner . .The goal is for you to become the person you want to be . This means exploring the past to live in the present . I believe in radical acceptance, having compassion toward self and where you are now while moving toward the person you are meant to be . I hope you will let yourself be seen in a safe place while working toward self acceptance and creating a healthy relationships w/ yourself . Women are often juggling so many of life demands that they often get lost in just keeping up , resulting in mental health issues . I have worked w some of the best psychiatrist at Bellevue Hospital in NYC, dependency court , Cliffside Malibu ,Prominence and Passages in Malibu .My passion after being an agent and writer’s assistant is using my 3 decades as an experienced therapist to facilitate change in individuals . We all are worthy of change to live .
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that as humans we are influenced by our pasts and often the lense that we view the world through may be skewed . From our childhoods to present , we incorporate beliefs and expectations that have shaped us . Often the automatic thoughts we believed to be true may be burdening us .As women , we are often putting our needs aside or trying to project the person that we think we should be ; however when we truly can accept ourself , we become armed with the greatest gift , the gift of knowing ourself and allowing ourself to be truly seen and heard . Thus , therapy is an exploration of looking at unhealthy patterns and thoughts and replacing them with a more balanced view of self and others . I am a strong advocate for helping women be their best and living in wellness.I work with many individuals struggling with their identity , lifestyle, career , parenting issues , transitions , infertility, menopause , discrimination , betrayal and toxic relationships .
