About My Clients
I work with adults navigating complex and single-incident trauma. I am a good fit for clients who have done therapy or personal growth work and are ready to move beyond building insight into deeper processing and making meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a emphasis in Multicultural Counseling. My work is grounded in cultural humility and an awareness of how identity, relationships, and systemic and intergenerational experiences can shape our mental health. I strive to create a space where you feel respected, understood, and supported in bringing your whole self to the work. Evidence shows that traditional talk therapy is not effective in resolving trauma and may even make it worse. I draw from evidence-based approaches like EMDR, parts work, somatic interventions, clinical hypnosis, mindfulness, ERP, and more, tailoring therapy to your needs and goals. I have worked in IOP, outpatient, and criminal justice settings. I am EMDR certified and a Licensed Addiction Counselor as well as an LPC.
