About My Clients

Arielle works with teens and adults who feel deeply, often feel misunderstood, and are tired of trying to meet expectations that don't fit them. Her clients may be navigating trauma, neurodivergence, difficult relationships, or the shifts in identity that come with parenthood or leadership. Many appear capable while privately feeling overwhelmed. They want to understand their reactions, change painful patterns, and find ways to live that honor their needs without sacrificing connection.

My Background and Approach

Arielle earned her MSW from NYU and completed foundational DBT training through Behavioral Tech. Her experience spans schools, community mental health, eating disorder IOP settings, and DBT-focused private practice. Her advanced training includes DBT-Prolonged Exposure, DBT-PTSD, and EMDR, allowing her to aid clients in integrating practical skills with trauma processing. She has also trained in adapting DBT and trauma treatment for autistic and other neurodivergent clients, so treatment can account for sensory needs, communication differences, and how each person processes experiences. Additional training includes perinatal mental health through Massachusetts General Hospital and the Perinatal Mental Health Institute, as well as CBT-E, CBT-AR, and DBT for eating disorders. Her approach is active, direct, and collaborative, drawing on this range of training to tailor care to each client's history, needs, and goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Arielle is a big-picture thinker with an eye for the details that matter. She has a knack for identifying patterns across experiences that may initially seem unrelated, while staying curious about the small, specific pieces that make each person’s story their own. Her background in literature and writing informs her attention to language and how people make sense of their lives. As a neurodivergent therapist, she believes people deserve support that respects their differences and takes their needs seriously. She values the freedom to question expectations, including the ones people have spent years trying to meet. Her work reflects the belief that accepting yourself and wanting things to change can coexist. Arielle brings curiosity, directness, and a down-to-earth presence to her relationships. She appreciates people who are knowledgeable without being pretentious and believes meaningful work can leave room for humor and personality.
