About My Clients
I work individually with adults, practicing within modalities such as relational and intersubjective psychotherapy. Additionally, I work with teens and adolescents, helping them increase motivation, enhance self-control, and foster a deeper understanding of themselves. I also have training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, an evidence-based dyadic treatment for mothers and children ages 0–5 who have experienced trauma.
My Background and Approach
I believe a therapist's job is to help people get "unstuck." Through a collaborative and relational approach, we will work to deepen your awareness and interrupt unhelpful patterns so that you feel increasingly in control of personal choices. I believe long-lasting change is created through meaningful emotional moments and consistent successful attunements within the therapeutic relationship. Together, we’ll make sense of stressful and traumatic experiences so that your life’s narrative feels understood in new and insightful ways. Let’s explore the root of your challenges beyond surface-level symptoms. Reach out to book a session today.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All behavior serves a purpose. Even the most painful or confusing patterns often began as ways to cope with overwhelming circumstances. In therapy, these parts of ourselves can be safely confronted and processed. Through this sustained exploration, you come to recognize that while your emotional responses once made perfect sense, they may no longer serve you in the same way. The work of therapy is not about erasing or lingering in the past, but about making meaning from it. It is about turning inward with curiosity and compassion so you can move through the world with greater clarity, coherence, and connection.
