About My Clients
So many of us feel like we struggle every day to survive through life. We might feel lost, unhappy, stressed or exhausted from our own self-doubts or the roadblocks that are thrown at us. Finding and accepting yourself is not always an easy task and sometimes we all need a little help. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, self-doubts, low self-esteem, mood regulation, and challenging behaviors. I help my clients to embrace who they are and use healthy skills.
My Background and Approach
I offer supportive supportive psychotherapy using a strengths based approach and interventions personalized for each client. Specializing in treating anxiety, depression and trauma related disorders, I provide a welcoming and safe space for self-expression and change to help my clients embrace their emotions and build a life worth living. During sessions I often use a mix of therapy modalities and intervention to best fit my client. I have experience with providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I use components from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalytic, and many more!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves to be happy and to live their best life, whatever that may look like. I value being open-minded and empathetic. In the past I have participated in events to encourage gender and sexual orientation inclusivity, I have engaged in activities to prevent domestic violence and sexual abuse, as well as feminist movements and women's rights.
