About My Clients
My clients are often highly successful, intelligent people who have not 'fit in' at some capacity.
My Background and Approach
I have a bachelor's degree in secondary education and English, having spent a few years as an English teacher in alternative educational settings. I also have a master's degree in counseling, with an emphasis on grief and trauma. My research specialty is binge eating, bulimia, and body image concerns. I am a current student at the William Alanson Institute in NYC working on deepening my knowledge of eating disorder and other compulsions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that community, society, and what we're taught matters. It is possible to relearn beliefs that no longer (or never did) suite us.
