About My Clients
Whatever brings my clients to me, I want to support them in feeling whole. This can mean learning how to safely unmask your Autism or ADHD, how to heal traumas old and new, how to learn new ways to approach challenges without shame, or how to bring compassion to chronically ill bodyminds. My young clients enjoy my playful interventions that help them feel confident and proud of being uniquely themselves. My adult clients are redelivered to tackle challenges without shame and ableism.
My Background and Approach
As a nurodivergant, disabled, queer, and chronically ill person myself, I work from a stance of lived as well as professional experience. I know how hard it can be to find a therapist who is interested in the full experience of living in your bodymind as opposed to trying to diagnose and fit you into interventions that 'should' work. I love collaborating with clients creatively to figure out what healing means to them and how to help them get there, and bring my wealth of somatic, mindfulness, and trauma informed coping strategies to the task. My experiences working with adults, children of all ages, and couples in a variety of settings, from outdoor therapy to crisis stabilization to public schools has taught me first hand about navigating systems, and being a partner in supporting my client's self-advocacy.
