About My Clients

I work with young adults navigating life transitions, processing complex trauma, or exploring questions of identity and faith. My clients often seek to understand patterns affecting their relationships and behaviors. Whether you're questioning gender identity, processing religious trauma, or seeking to understand your reactions, I provide a space where your story is welcome and valued.

My Background and Approach

With a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling focused on trauma-informed care, I combine therapeutic expertise with pastoral care experience. As a Spanish-speaking therapist, I serve diverse populations with cultural sensitivity. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and family systems theory. I examine patterns through a systemic lens while using evidence-based practices to address both immediate concerns and underlying issues. Starting with "Why now?"—I help clients explore what brings them to therapy, then work collaboratively to understand patterns and create meaningful change. My Clinical Pastoral Education enhances my ability to support clients exploring spirituality and faith, while maintaining an open, non-judgmental stance toward all beliefs and identities.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every person deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. In my practice, clients find a therapeutic environment where they can explore thoughts, desires, and past behaviors without judgment. This space allows for both gentle challenge and supportive growth. I'm passionate about helping clients understand the 'why' behind their reactions and behaviors. By gaining insight into how past experiences shape current perspectives, we can work together to adjust frameworks that may no longer serve you and develop new patterns that support flourishing. My background in pastoral care, combined with my commitment to human rights and inclusivity, allows me to walk alongside clients from all backgrounds as they navigate their unique journeys. Whether processing trauma, exploring identity, or questioning faith, I provide professional guidance with genuine support.
