Hola! Hello! I'm a bilingual LFMT-A in Texas, and I serve BIPOC and LGBTQ+ teens, young adults, couples and families in English and Spanish.

About My Clients

The teens and adults I often work with are folks who, in their pursuit to “have it all,” are feeling stuck, lonely, and at times may feel overwhelmed by a harsh inner critic. I also work with families and couples in which members feel like the roles they play in their relationships are no longer serving them, resulting in conflict and disconnection. My clients are introspective, who want to do what's best for them and their loved ones, but struggle to find the right balance between the two.

My Background and Approach

Therapy looks like working with folks who want to strike their own ideal balance between showing up authentically and being connected to the people they love. Some of my focus areas include: generational trauma, grief & loss, life transitions, relational stressors in romantic and family of origin relationships, codependency, and culturally informed boundaries work. I'm trained as a systems therapist, meaning that I focus on relational wellness as an integral part of mental health. I'm a trauma-informed, anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirming, bilingual therapist. I work from a culturally-informed lens, and I tailor my Narrative-focused therapeutic approach to each of my clients based on their needs and goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that therapy should be tailored to the client and their idea of wellness by incorporating the client's culture, support systems, and generational strengths to meet their therapeutic goals. I believe that being trauma-informed inherently means openly addressing the ways systemic oppression affects us all, but in particular our BIPOC, LGBTQ, and disabled clients. As a previously low-income, first generation Latina, I know what it's like to enter certain healthcare spaces and feel overwhelmed. I make a concerted effort to explain how therapy can help and what the limits of therapy could be for each of my clients. Therapy is a wonderful resource that is not always accessible, and I like to identify with my clients community supports they can access in conjunction with therapy. As your therapist, I seek out ways to improve my approach to continue being the right fit for you.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
