About My Clients

I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, trauma, relationship struggles, and life transitions. Many of my clients are high-achieving and self-aware, yet feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in painful patterns rooted in past experiences. I especially enjoy helping clients process childhood trauma, improve relationships, build self-trust, and create healthier ways of coping and relating to themselves and others.

My Background and Approach

I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist providing Telehealth therapy to adults and teens throughout California. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and attachment-based, integrating CBT, ACT, DBT-informed skills, and EMDR. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand how past experiences, relationships, and internal beliefs may be impacting their present emotional well-being. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, relationship difficulties, childhood trauma, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning externally while internally struggling with stress, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism, or difficulty feeling connected to themselves and others. My goal is to create a space that feels genuine, supportive, and growth-oriented while helping clients develop deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, healthier coping patterns, and more fulfilling relationships.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people are capable of meaningful growth and change, even when shaped by painful experiences or past trauma. Therapy is not about “fixing” someone, but about creating space for greater self-understanding, healing, self-compassion, and empowerment. As someone raised by immigrant parents, I understand many of the unique pressures, expectations, and emotional experiences that can come with navigating multiple cultures, family dynamics, achievement-related pressure, and generational patterns. This perspective helps me approach clients with cultural sensitivity, curiosity, and awareness of the broader systems and experiences that shape identity and mental health. I value authenticity, emotional honesty, and creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe enough to show up as themselves without judgment.
