I have a passion for making a difference and believe in the power of therapy to facilitate healing and growth. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can explore your experiences, develop coping strategies, and work towards your personal goals. I am committed to helping individuals on their journey to wellness and self-discovery, utilizing a holistic and client-centered approach.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with expertise in trauma, eating disorders, and EMDR therapy. I have experience providing therapy for individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, perinatal disorders, and depression from diverse backgrounds. My practice is informed by various evidence-based modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, reading, baking, and spending time with my toddler and family. I completed my clinical training with a bachelors in psychology from BYU and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University. With my specialized training and empathetic approach, I look forward to supporting your in your path to healing and overall well-being.
