About My Clients
I support 2e children (exceptional intelligence combined with learning/developmental disability such as adhd, dyslexia, asd, spd) through challenges with tantrums, high sensitivity, self-esteem, rigidity, anxiety, transitions, perfectionism, selective mutism, defiance, and aggression. I coach parents who are feeling frustrated, and stuck in regular power struggles with their 2e child. They’re eager to learn ways to help their child navigate the high highs and low lows they experience.
My Background and Approach
I’m a LMSW and early interventionist experienced in providing play-based ABA to neurodivergent toddlers and preschoolers since 2018. I combine my wealth of EI experience with my personal journey growing up 2e to pinpoint early signs, deeply empathize with learning/emotional challenges (ADHD, SPS, ASD) while celebrating and nourishing their gifted trait/s (affective, creative, cognitive, behavioral). My approach is warm, playful, intuitive, and practical. I’m passionate about meeting 2e emotional needs which may manifest as behavioral difficulties such as frequent/intense tantrums, high sensitivity, low self-esteem, time-related anxiety, trouble with transitions, impulsivity, aggression, opposition, perfectionism, selective mutism, and rigidity. I help meet your child’s unique needs such aa emotion regulation, communication, self-esteem, and self-advocacy. Between sessions I offer parents around the clock virtual support.
