About My Clients
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and taking that first step is often the hardest. I support individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, as they navigate life’s challenges. I have experience working with those on the Autism spectrum and collaborating with parents and families to build stronger connections. Together, we can address concerns such as anxiety, stress, perfectionism, behavior challenges, life transitions, and identity development. My goal is to provide
My Background and Approach
I use play therapy with younger children to help them express themselves in creative, developmentally appropriate ways. For older children, teens, and families, I draw from a person-centered and cognitive-behavioral approach to help clients feel understood, empowered, and actively engaged in their growth. I know how overwhelming life can feel; you don’t have to navigate it alone. No matter what you are struggling with, I’m here to help. I'd love to support you if you're ready to take the next step.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to creating affirming, inclusive spaces for children, teens, and families, particularly those from underserved communities. As a first-generation college graduate who attended two predominantly white institutions, I know what it’s like to navigate spaces where the majority don’t look like me. These experiences shaped my passion for advocacy, representation, and mental health access. I am especially dedicated to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and uplifting families from diverse cultural and racial backgrounds. My values are rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect, and I strive to help clients feel seen, valued, and empowered in their unique journeys.
