About My Clients
I know from personal experience how hard it can be to find someone who understands the ways we struggle to navigate a world that sees our differences as a personal failing. I'm here to help you discover and honor your own unique constellation of strengths and differences, and how best to navigate a world that isn’t built for many of us or may not be safe for us to show up fully.
My Background and Approach
I'm a neurodivergent (AuDHDer), queer, trans non-binary, poly, kink-involved human whose special interests have led them to find meaning in supporting others in my communities. As a therapist, I seek to cultivate a therapy space that subverts traditional power dynamics, celebrates individuals' intersectional identities, and actively dismantles white supremacy in the hopes of repairing the harm caused by the historical pathologizing of marginalized individuals. At Unbound, we support individuals in finding and living their own wild, authentic truths while honoring our need for safety in an unsafe world. While we do much of this work on the individual level, we believe that healing occurs in community.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the world has given many of us messages, explicitly and implicitly, that our way of being is wrong. We've been made to feel broken, weird, unlovable, crazy, and too much. Some of us have responded to this by trying to perform or fit ourselves into smaller boxes. Some of us have consumed therapy and self-help content to try and be “better.” Some of us have masked so much that we are not even sure who we are under that mask. Some of us have just tried our best to ignore the gnawing sense that we are wrong. Hear me: You are incredible. You are powerful. And I am so glad you are here.
