About My Clients
During my nine years as a therapist, I have worked with adolescents, teens, families, and Individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems. I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma such as sexual abuse, physical, and emotional abuse. In addition, I had the opportunity to work with victims of crime for four years.
My Background and Approach
My role as your therapist is to walk alongside you on your journey of growth and help you discover your inner strengths and power to live a fulfilling life. I provide a safe place for clients to express their experiences, thoughts, and feelings and treat everyone with respect, compassion, and a culturally competent perspective. I have specialized training utilizing evidence-based practices that were developed to ensure strength-based, research-backed interventions and treatment. These include but are not limited to CBT, IPT, Seeking Safety, Brain Spotting, TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused CBT). Change can be hard, and I aim to create a safe and collaborative environment where my clients can feel empowered and supported. I am a therapist at Octave, a behavioral health practice creating a new standard for mental health care that’s both high-quality and accessible.
