About My Clients
I work with adults struggling with a wide range of issues such as depressive feelings, grief and loss, anxiety, stress management, and a wide range of other issues of life that appear insurmountable. If you are looking to rediscover your best self then counseling is for you.
My Background and Approach
My background consists of utilizing tools and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existentialism, Gestalt, along with Mindfulness Based therapy. What are these techniques? In brief they are the understanding of patterns of thoughts and behaviors and how they impact the client as they attempt to successfully live out their life’s purpose. My approach is to assist the client with improvement of communication skills, emotional regulation, development of healthy coping skills, and greater confidence while utilizing natural strengths inherent to each individual.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each human being has innate value, purpose and the ability to live to their potential, whatever that may be for that individual. Along the path of life and due to various circumstances our worth becomes questionable and causes us grief. Because it is our lives it is our responsibility to address the concerns and impediments that may be getting in the way of living our best lives.
