I provide affirming care to folks who are seeking to process their lived experiences, increase self-compassion, and live a more authentic life. Many of my clients are hoping to explore identity, build adaptive coping skills, and reduce shame.
My Background and Approach
I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach that is guided by evidence-based therapies (DBT, ACT) as well as feminist & multicultural approaches. I support my clients through challenges by promoting clarity, healing, and values-driven change. I offer a safe and encouraging environment, where you are the expert of your lived experience. My therapeutic style is informed by my identities, experiences, and training; I am guided by curiosity, authenticity, and warmth. I honor the vulnerability of showing up in therapy & commend you for seeking support in this journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the importance of a therapeutic relationship, and I value showing up as a genuine person within the therapy space, reflecting warmth, curiosity, and trust. I am passionate about creating a safe and affirming space (both within therapy and in the outside world), and engage actively in my broader communities to use my privilege and power. I value learning, growth, and self-reflection, and integrate these values in the way I live my life and the work that I do. In my free time, I enjoy walking, listening to music, and volunteering at the animal shelter!
