About My Clients

Many clients are facing anxiety/depression that is in some ways appear manageable to the outsider but suffering internally from day to day. Whether it is their childhood experiences or current stressors such as work life balance, relationships, trying to start a family and motherhood, my clients deeply want to life live with ease while finding meaning to live more authentically. -Additionally, my clients experience debilitating anxiety including OCD, eating disorders, childhood trauma, PTSD.

My Background and Approach

I draw from multiple modalities with a holistic creative lens to tailor to your needs. Such modalities include behavioral approaches like cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy, somatic approaches like Brainspotting, and spiritual approaches that bring you to the here and now. I am compassionate but will gently challenge you while experienced to know when you need extra support with a more directive hand. I have extensive experience working at different levels of care such as residentials, hospitals, community, school and private practice. I also have completed trainings in Brainspotting to treat trauma, along with certification in Perinatal Mental Health. I also am a facilitator for Postpartum Support international's South Asian Mothers Support group. Additionally, I have experience and true understanding in providing a container for those suffering from eating disorders.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

On a personal level, I try to live an intentional life the best I can, especially being a working mother in the Bay Area's fast paced culture. But I'm also aware that growth and healing is a continuous process with ebbs and flows and that I fumble at times too. I am human and I chose to be reflective and self-compassionate through my own personal therapy and spiritual inquiry to be the best version of me to provide the best care for you. My interests outside of my practice include trying to do realistic self-care and being really gentle in the process. If I had all the time to do what I want, I would be hanging out with friends, singing, reading spiritual books, doing arts and crafts with my kids, baking, hiking, or watching a new tv series but trying not to binge =)
