About My Clients
My clients are high-achieving South Asian professionals who often feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck under the weight of cultural and family expectations. They may struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or self-doubt, even while appearing put-together on the outside. My clients are ready to slow down, explore who they are beneath the pressure, and reconnect with their inner calm, confidence, and truth—on their own terms.
My Background and Approach
As a South Asian, mindfulness-based therapist with a background in yoga, meditation, and Buddhist psychology, I bring a holistic and culturally sensitive approach to therapy. I blend evidence-based practices with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and inner inquiry to support the whole person—mind, body, and soul. I work from a place of deep presence and compassion, helping clients understand the roots of anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships. I specialize in working with South Asian professionals navigating high expectations, cultural identity, and the tension between who they truly are and who they feel they “should” be. Together, we slow down, build self-trust, and create space for more authenticity, calm, and clarity in your life. Therapy with me is not just about coping—it’s about coming home to yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing is always possible. We can’t change our past, but we can change how it lives within us. I see growth as an ongoing process of remembering who we truly are beneath conditioning, fear, and cultural expectations. Many of the patterns that cause suffering—people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-criticism—were once ways we learned to stay safe. Through awareness and compassion, we can unlearn what no longer serves us and reconnect to a steadier sense of self. My own path through anxiety, self-doubt, and identity struggles deeply informs my work. I’ve experienced firsthand how mindfulness, therapy, and inner work can bring real freedom and peace. I believe in creating an inclusive, affirming space where every part of you is welcome. Healing isn’t about fixing—it’s about befriending yourself and learning to live with greater presence, courage, and authenticity.
