About My Clients
So much of what we struggle with makes sense when we look at it through the lens of the nervous system, attachment patterns, and the coping strategies we developed to get through earlier experiences. When we understand the “why,” our reactions start to feel less personal and far less shame-filled. My work centers on helping people, adults and kiddos, move toward a version of themselves that feels authentic rather than performative.
My Background and Approach
I believe in a holistic, individualized approach that honors each person’s unique experiences and current needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and pain reprocessing therapy. Healing does not require perfection. It requires understanding, compassion, and the willingness to show up honestly. My passion is to offer individuals and families a patient, supportive space where they feel heard and empowered to build the tools needed to thrive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As an Anti-racist & Anti-Oppressive social worker, human rights and social justice are first and foremost. I am an ally to BIPOC communities, LGBTQIA+ community, and feminist communities. I do not believe in being colorblind and ignoring oppressive structures. I am proud to be a first-generation American and welcome non-citizen Americans.
