My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach has evolved over the past decade with experience in various settings with diverse populations. This has lead me to learn the most effective interventions to help strengthen relationships with the self and with others. We collaborate, which helps in you gain agency over your own life. You'll get to process things from your past which helps you in shifting negative thoughts about yourself into positive thoughts, helping to transform your self-esteem. Through experiencing a safe environment, processing past experiencing, feeling understood and validated you’ll have the opportunity to piece yourself back together in a more cohesive, fulfilling way. Through my reframes and strength-based approach you’ll understand your behavior with compassion. Through guiding you to notice your feelings and body responses you are able to experience emotional release and learn how best to engage with others and with yourself. Which helps you feel more at ease and in control.

Every person is unique and that uniqueness deserves to be honored in therapy. Our cultural experience is a deep part of who we are. I have a passion for learning about different cultures and helping people reach positive attunement with all the parts of themselves.
