About My Clients
Life can shift beneath our feet—gradually or all at once. In transitions, grief, or illness, it’s easy to lose your sense of self and what matters. I work with teens and adults navigating loss, change, and identity, helping them rediscover meaning and reconnect with who they are. You don’t have to move through these tender, disorienting moments alone.
My Background and Approach
I offer a relational, client-centered approach grounded in curiosity, compassion, and genuine connection. I integrate narrative therapy, accelerated resolution therapy, and clinical hypnosis to help clients process difficult experiences, shift unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with their inner strengths. With a background in hospice and palliative care, I bring deep experience supporting people through grief, illness, and life transitions. I’m skilled at creating a space where clients feel seen and understood, while also gently guiding meaningful change. My approach helps reduce emotional intensity, increase self-trust, and support a more grounded, purposeful way of moving forward. I also work with teens who are fighting through all the noise, stress and drama to find what is important to them and their identities. I have experience working with teens during their most intense and tough moments in PHP and residential treatment. Wherever you are, you're welcome here.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I like to bring myself to the therapy room but only when it feels necessary and does not take away from your care. I believe in being my genuine self and connecting with my clients. It does feel necessary for you to know that as a therapist, I am deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and equitable space for all individuals. I recognize that racism and systemic oppression have profound effects on mental health and well-being. I am dedicated to continuously educating myself, challenging biases, and advocating for social justice. My goal is to support each person with empathy, respect, and an understanding of how their unique experiences with race, class, and identity shape their lives. I believe in working collaboratively to address and dismantle the impact of racism, both within our therapeutic relationship and in the broader context of our society. I also try to work from a non-pathologizing point of view. If a diagnosis is important, we can explore that together.
