About My Clients
My clients are individuals struggling with issues related to self-worth, trauma, intimate betrayal, body self-image and sexuality concerns. The couples I work with want to reconnect and experience emotional and sexual intimacy. I also treat infidelity and help individuals heal their relationship and regain trust and honesty after a sexual betrayal. I also help those who have experienced spiritual abuse and struggling with trauma.
My Background and Approach
To help the individuals, couples, and families, I use various therapeutic approaches, including attachment theory, Emotion-focused Therapy, narrative therapy, systems theory, and sex therapy. I believe it is essential to be mindful of oppressive systems and the trauma they can cause. In addition to being trauma-informed, I apply culturally-sensitive therapy and often use techniques from a feminist approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I consider the therapeutic space to be sacred and will ensure you feel seen, heard, and understood. I work collaboratively with each person to identify their therapeutic goals and the ways those goals can be achieved. I believe that moments of laughter can be helpful for healing and use humor to connect with others.
