About My Clients

I specialize in working with BIPOC folx, immigrants, queer folx, neurodiverse folx, and anyone that feels like they fit outside of the norm. I desire to continue growing, finding ways to create safer spaces for marginalized folx, and aid in the movement of decolonization in therapy and within myself. I seek a collaborative approach in therapy, and want to help you expand your range and choice.

My Background and Approach

I hold multiple dichotomous truths, and have a person centered, somatic, and social justice orientation. I desire to continue growing, finding ways to create safer spaces for marginalized folx, and aid in the movement of decolonization in therapy and within myself. I seek a collaborative approach in therapy, and want to help you expand your range and choice for a more flexible nervous system. We can talk, AND we can move about it!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe the client knows what is best for themselves, and because we are not meant to do healing work alone, there is something about the therapeutic relationship that facilitates growth and change. Sometimes that takes hearing reflections from another person, mirroring, accountability, or learning some new skills on regulating the nervous system or finding more awareness of the body. Decolonization and doing my best to balance power dynamics is important to me, and that includes being accountable as a person, being open to having difficult conversations, and recognizing when I am mistaken about things. I will advocate for people within systems and institutions and I believe we are not free until we are all free.
