About My Clients

I am happy to help you work through whatever it may be that you’re facing. With that said, I particularly enjoy working with young folks (age 12+), couples, people struggling with body image issues, multiracial and multicultural identity issues, religious trauma, and big life transitions.

My Background and Approach

I provide an engaging, warm, and sometimes humorous space to unpack and explore what you’re going through. My approach to therapy is eclectic because therapy is not a one-size fits all process, and our work together will reflect that. My therapeutic foundation is in existentialism, family systems, and relational gestalt; I love talking about the big questions of life, but I want to focus on you here and now. I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own story, and through a relationship of honest dialogue, care, and mutual respect, I hope to support your growth and healing. My goal is to make you feel heard.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I identify as biracial and am familiar with the complexities, joys, and challenges of multicultural (and multi-religious) relationships and families. I also have experience with immigration journeys and feel passionate about supporting people through that often lifelong transition. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who strongly believes that the personal is political. In healing ourselves, we heal our communities, too.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following
  • Atheism
  • Islam
  • Judaism
  • Interfaith
  • Multifaith
