About My Clients
Children and teens deserve a safe space to be themselves. With the rise of mental health concerns, my role as a clinician is to offer a judgment-free space to explore, learn, process, and be heard. With my clinical experience and focus on using a person-centered approach, I am able to meet clients and families where they are. Most importantly, I help guide children and teens to where they want to be.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in various clinical settings including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient since 2013. These experiences included working with individuals with trauma, family conflict, mood/ anxiety disorders, behavioral issues, suicidal thoughts/actions, and psychosis. I am currently in the process of becoming a Registered Play Therapist and have had training using a variety approaches including variations of Play Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Somatic Experiential Intervention. I am a licensed practitioner in the state of TN #5221.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care is for everyone and aim to treat our future generation with respect and care.
