My Background and Approach
I adhere to a Cognitive-Behavior theoretical (CBT) approach to counseling. This approach is based on the principle that believes unhealthy thought patterns leads to the maladaptive emotions. I will encourage you to identify distorted thought patterns and work with you in replacing them with an alternate thought, thereby enhancing emotional regulation. I hope that we will establish a great rapport and work together in achieving your goals.
