About My Clients
You're tired of having the same fight. You feel disconnected from your partner, your family, or yourself. Maybe it's anxiety, depression, burnout, or a life change you didn't see coming. We work with couples, families, and individuals ready for real change, not endless talk. With 20+ years of experience behind our approach, we help you understand why you are the way you are, and how to move forward. There's a reason we hold a 4.9-star rating on Google: our clients see real results.
My Background and Approach
The Good Center was founded by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience, licensed in both Texas and California. For you, that means a team led by someone who has seen it all and knows what actually works. Couples therapy has been our specialty since 2014. Our founder developed an original model that blends Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Narrative Therapy, so you don't just stop fighting. You rebuild trust, feel closer, and rewrite the story of your relationship. He is also the author of Why We Are the Way We Are and has supervised and trained clinicians for over a decade. Every therapist on our team works under that same standard of care, so you get experienced, thoughtful help from your very first session. We also see families and individuals for anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. Whatever brought you here, we'll help you understand the patterns behind it and give you real tools to change them.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At The Good Center, we believe therapy is normal. Asking for help isn't a sign that something is wrong with you. It's a sign that you care about your life, your relationships, and your future. We believe people make sense. The way you think, feel, and react was shaped by your story. Once you understand why you are the way you are, change stops feeling impossible and starts feeling possible. We value honesty, warmth, and results. We'll be direct with you, we'll treat you with respect, and we'll stay focused on the change you came here for. Everyone is welcome here, whatever your background, beliefs, identity, or relationship structure. You don't have to explain or defend who you are to get good care. We care about mental health beyond our office walls. Our founder created the North Texas Mental Health Professionals community, which connects more than 11,000 clinicians across the region.
