About My Clients
I offer in person and remote sessions in English and Spanish to make therapy more accessible and flexible. My experience includes working with LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodiverse individuals, survivors of trauma, and those whose lives involve the intersection of multiple identities.
My Background and Approach
I am a registered clinical social worker intern with experience in diverse populations facing systemic barriers and intersectional issues. My emphasis is on liberation and autonomy and my method is collaboration with each individual to understand what is important to them, and how best to live by their self-selected values. My goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and collaboration. Together, we will identify strengths, address challenges, and create practical steps toward lasting change and greater well-being. I draw from a variety of approaches so we can adapt our work to best fit your needs and preferences. Some of the treatments I incorporate to my practice include: CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, SFBT, feminist therapy, queer therapy, gender affirming care, person centered therapy, and trauma-informed care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space of autonomy, liberation, and authentic connection. My work is person-centered, honoring each client’s lived experience and right to self-determination. I am deeply committed to affirming LGBTQIA+ communities, celebrating neurodiversity, and practicing through a feminist and anti-oppressive lens. I view mental health as intertwined with social justice, and I strive to create a space where clients can explore not just their inner worlds, but also the systemic forces that impact their lives. My values are rooted in respect, empowerment, and collective healing.
