About My Clients
I work with adults who feel like they’re performing life instead of living it. My clients are often successful on paper but wrestling privately with grief, shame, identity, or the sense that they’ve been living someone else’s script. Many are LGBTQIA+, creatives, or seekers drawn to depth. They’re ready to explore their dreams, their shadows, and their unconscious patterns, not to pathologize them, but to uncover their wisdom and reclaim a more authentic self.
My Background and Approach
I am licensed in CA, OR, WA, and OH as an LPCC and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). My approach is rooted in Jungian depth psychology, psychodynamic practice, and trauma-informed care. I also integrate expressive arts, such as writing or collage, when talking is not enough. My work is especially resonant for LGBTQIA+ adults, creatives, and seekers navigating grief, identity, and life transitions. Sessions move at your pace, but focus on what is most real and alive in you: your dreams, shadow, longings, and unconscious patterns that shape your life. This isn’t quick-fix therapy. It’s a process of reclamation, where we slow down, name what hurts, and uncover what has been buried under shame, silence, or expectation. My role is not to pathologize your experience, but to help you listen more deeply to yourself, so you can live with greater authenticity, freedom, and meaning.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person carries wisdom within them, even if it has been buried under years of silence, shame, or survival. Therapy is the work of uncovering that wisdom. I believe in slowing down, listening to dreams and unconscious patterns, and allowing the psyche to speak in its own symbolic language. I trust that symptoms are not enemies to be eliminated, but signals pointing us toward what needs attention. My belief is that wholeness is possible, not perfection, but integration. I also believe that therapy must be culturally humble and queer-affirming, creating space where every part of a client’s identity is honored. I hold the conviction that when we approach ourselves with honesty, courage, and compassion, we reclaim what has always been ours: authenticity, meaning, and the capacity to live fully from the inside out.
