I am a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in working with trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), life transitions, boundary setting, relationship difficulties, and more. My aim is to help clients reduce suffering, build insight and awareness, develop more adaptive resources, and facilitate growth and healing. I utilize a blended integrative approach through a trauma-informed lens - applying a variety of evidenced-based treatments that will meet your needs. Sessions tend to be interactive, conversational, informal, and lined with humor (when appropriate) to maintain a sense of grounding and perspective. Walk and Talk therapy offered in Richmond upon availability.

I identify as a licensed professional counselor, national certified counselor, qualified mental health professional, consultant, and free spirit! Essential to each of these roles is my commitment to equity, respect, discretion, privacy, high ethical, morale, and clinical judgment as we began your journey. I am an universal ally, underscoring the notion that I support community members lives and life styles (as long as it does not cause harm). My personal beliefs never infringe on my clients as I am only someone who walks alongside you in your journey. Therapy with me much looks like you chatting with an old friend, coupled with professional clinical support. Cultural competence is extremely important to me as I have had the opportunities to study abroad in the following countries: Turkey, Greece, Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Italy, and India. These experiences have genuinely shaped the person that I am, and allowed me to become a better woman, community member, and therapist.
