I use CBT to help you understand the connection between what you think, how you feel, and what you do. Together, we’ll get curious about the patterns keeping you stuck, question the assumptions your brain treats as facts, and experiment with new ways of responding. The goal isn’t to “think positive” - it’s to think more flexibly and respond intentionally instead of automatically.

Boundaries are a big part of codependency and we don't really ever learn what they are or how to set and hold them. We often times will feel guilty when those around us are struggling with a difficult emotions. Saying 'yes' when you really mean 'no' is super common. Working together you will learn your own codependent patterns so you can begin to shift them and feel better about yourself with yourself and also in relationships with others.

I received training through Postpartum Support International and also experienced perinatal anxiety firsthand. Pregnancy is a trip and when you throw wild hormones and mental health in the mix it can be a bumpy, wild ride. Learning about perinatal and postpartum mental health is the first step in knowing that you aren't crazy and that you can feel better. I am super passionate about helping expecting moms and new moms feel better so you can enjoy this incredible experience.

Experiencing grief is one of the hardest emotions we face. When we lose someone, people around us often have a hard time knowing what to say, or how to effectively offer support. I get it and have been there. Finding someone to help make sense of the grief can be extremely helpful in the healing process and it is my honor to be a part of your journey. Grief work can also be done around 'life losses' and can be just as important in healing and starting to feel somewhat whole again.

I use somatic therapy to help clients work with what’s happening in their bodies, not just analyze what’s happening in their heads. We’ll notice how anxiety, stress, and overwhelm show up physically and use movement, sensory strategies, grounding, and nervous system regulation to help your body move through the stress response instead of staying stuck in it. By practicing getting into your body you can experience getting out of your head and quieting the mental noise.

I use ACT to help you stop fighting with every uncomfortable thought or feeling and start choosing how you want to respond to it. We can't completely eliminate anxiety, so instead of constantly trying to push it away we’ll practice making room for the discomfort, getting unstuck from the stories your brain tells you, and taking action based on what actually matters to you, not what anxiety says you should do.
