About My Clients

What might it feel like to, as poet Derek Walcott writes, “love again the stranger who was your self?” What might it look like to “feast on your life?” We may find ourselves feeling disconnected and unsure of how to reconnect to the things we love. And sometimes, we fear that where we find ourselves today is all that is possible. You may find yourself in a place where you are wishing to go deeper. Perhaps you are wondering about befriending that inner voice that can be critical and loud.

My Background and Approach

While you can do this work alone, a therapist can be a helpful companion on this journey. In my work I meet clients with liveliness and loving presence. Together we embark on a process of collaborative self-discovery. This process uses mindfulness, somatic experimentation and movement, and exploration of the relational. I am trusting of one's organic healing process. Warmth and laughter can be expected.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I firmly believe we all contain what is needed to heal and that a therapist can be a guide as we spelunk into new emotional depths. My work is informed by a commitment to anti-racism, anti-oppression, and intersectional feminism. When not working, I’m taking a lake walk or looking for my next belly laugh. I came to this work in hopes of sharing with others what I found on my own healing journey--more is always possible. Please contact me if you're looking to experience "more."

I offer online counseling in the following states:
