About My Clients

As a queer therapist, I specialize in working with LGBTQ individuals, as wells as teens, young adults and families. My job is to help you recognize your ability to heal, and find new ways of understanding yourself and the world around you.
My Background and Approach
My 16 years of experience as a therapist, teacher, college professor, school counselor, and social worker has given me the training necessary to help you reach your goals. My approach is client-centered, evidenced-based, and trauma-informed. I predominantly use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Art Therapy during telehealth sessions. If you would prefer face-to-face counseling sessions, contact me about EcoTherapy nature-based counseling which takes place in the Mt. Hood National Forest.
