About My Clients
I enjoy working with people who are in the process of or considering how to change their lives. They often are struggling with intertwined challenges of health and anxiety, relationships and self esteem.
My Background and Approach
I like Acceptance and Commitment as it is based in Buddhist Psychology and really works for "hacking" your brain (IMO). I consider many issues from a trauma lens as I have yet to meet anyone who hasn't suffered a traumatic event in their life. I also approach therapy from a psychosomatic and holistic perspective when addressing trauma and health concerns. A Psychodynamic approach is also important when accounting for our entire history and its influence on the present.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
If you want to change your life in a radical way, I'm all in. I want to know what you REALLY want and the things you are afraid to say out loud. I believe we all have the capacity to heal ourselves and live the life we want. Everyone, including myself, gets tripped up along the way and needs a guide to get through the really tough stuff. When I was going through my various psychosomatic illnesses, I didn't have anyone who really understood, and so I want to be that person for you.
